“I am Me: know who you are”, originated with the concept that each student would learn at least one inspirational or motivational quote that defines themself; then recite and interpret its meaning personally, as it relates to achieving success in life. Some students create their own quotes and some use quotes from others. As their involvement and participation in the program progress, they will ultimately collect a wealth of meaningful quotes. The students will be required to expand upon quotes learned throughout the program. As a result, the student will be able to enhance their critical thinking skills, giving them the resources to make better decisions in their life.

“I am Me” is a character education curriculum and an academic achievement curriculum to promote student thinking. Our character education curriculum has three major focus points: Self-Respect, Respect of Others, and Leadership. Our academic achievement curriculum works with making sure that the students are able to function at grade level.
