Jarmel A. Bell, M.S.E., is the founder of Bell’s Education and “The Quote”, which is a program that focuses on character education. Mr. Bell has a passion and commitment to the development of people, which is why he has made a career of studying and teaching the importance of communication and moral standing. Mr. Bell understands that a society which cannot communicate is a misunderstood society. This is the very reason “The Quote” was born. It is Mr. Bell’s philosophy that by introducing character education as a shared responsibility of parents, teachers and members of the community, it will lead to positive character development at a young age.
He is an alumnus of Arkansas State University where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Middle School Education, with an emphasis in Mathematics, and a Master’s degree in Theory and Practice of Education. Mr. Bell’s career includes several years as a 7th and 8th grade mathematics instructor, a K-12 Instructional Facilitator, an Arkansas Department of Education Scholastic Auditor, and most recently a Mathematics Specialist with JBHM Educational Consultant Company. He is a Certified Anger Management Specialist and Anti-Bullying Specialist, which allows him to teach others about understanding and controlling their emotions.
Mission of Bell’s Education is to aid in establishing a cohesive culture among the school administration, faculty and students by using effective forms of communication to improve the educational experience.
Vision is to equip people of all ages to be successful in learning, both intellectually and morally. We strive to make learning a permanent part of each person’s life by providing them with the necessary tools to succeed.
Jeremy Bell, CEO/Director of Bell’s Education/The Quote?Inc.(non-profit organization) works rigorously with board management and developments, fundraising, program management, development and expansion, staff and operations management.
He received his Bachelors of Science Degree in Psychology with a minor in Physical Education and Health from Williams Baptist College. He is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Social Work (Mental Health Illness) from Simmons College. Also, currently employed with Life Strategies Counseling, Inc. in Jonesboro, Arkansas where he takes great pride in servicing clients with cognitive, social, emotional, or age related needs to help improve their independent functioning.
A former professional basketball athlete that played overseas in the countries of Europe, South America, and Canada. During his professional basketball career, he received Kidscape Program Certification, which is a program aimed at preventing bullying and protecting children. During this time, he was a member of the Hoops4Health Program, which taught students about making healthy lifestyle choices including best nutrition practices and anti-smoking initiatives.
During his spare time, he volunteers his service to the community of Marked Tree, AR. He holds the Jeremy Bell Annual Basketball Camp which is organized for the youth in the surrounding area to get hands on training with a former professional athlete. He works with the Marked Tree Youth Sports League coaching students in kindergarten through sixth grade in basketball, football, and baseball. He created Team Slash AAU (Amateur Athletic Union), which consist of a boys and girls competitive youth traveling basketball teams.
He has proven himself to be highly skilled, compassionate, empathetic, and a solutions-oriented professional dedicated to providing exceptional care for children, adolescents, and adults in our society. He is an effective motivator, communicator, and advocate with inherent ability to manage all types of personalities to resolve issues, and meet and achieve challenging goals and objectives.
